“My latest paintings are part of a new body of work that I have made recently in my studio in south London. They are interpreted from sketches in Spain, a place I return to again and again, and where I jot down ideas, feelings, or sounds in my sketchbook, so that I can immerse myself in that moment when I I start painting in the studio.”
