Born in Cambridge – foundation with tutor Walter Hoyle at Cambridge Arts and technical college who prompted my life-long love of Printmaking – studied Fine Art at West Surrey College and Nottingham Trent, and then Museum Studies at City University London… moved to Leicester in 1993 to manage Leicester Print Workshop… and stayed !
I live in the city, have a small, but lovely walled garden and two much loved allotments …all of which provide me with consent inspiration for work, space for thinking, jobs for procrastination and solace for life.
I am primarily a printmaker but spend a lot of time drawing as part of the process.
I am still an artist member of Leicester Print Workshop but now I am very lucky to have my own gorgeous 1830 Cope Albion Press at my home studio.
