I am an artist and jewellery maker living in the Wiltshire countryside, surrounded by hills and ancient places, carved white hill horses and rings of standing stones. My inspiration comes from the land, wild and free places, stories and folklore, poetry, myth and legend. I strive to capture the hidden knowledge held within the landscape and spark rememberings that will connect us back to our deepest roots and the hidden memory of this land.
I try to instil this feeling of connection and magic into all of my work.
In addition to this, I read and collect folklore and collect and write poetry. These words often form the first stirrings of a new idea and are an intrinsic part of my work. On the back of all my pieces of jewellery I engrave words or poetry that reflect the magic and feeling that inspired that particular piece.
