Helen has enjoyed a long career in art and design (both graphic & garden) following a BA Hons degree from Norwich School of Art (1979 – 1982). After training in horticulture (2000-2003) at the Colleges of West Anglia & Writtle, she also writes and illustrates for national garden magazines. In recent years she began oil painting under the expert guidance of Tony Rothon and Sarah Nutley at their art school on the Audley End Estate. Helen lives and works in both Saffron Walden in Essex and by the coast in Suffolk and is currently Artist in Residence at Darsham Nurseries.
