David Riches was born in 1959. He studied graphic design at Norwich School of Art. For 18 years he and his business partner Martin ran the successful design practice, Visible Edge, in the City of London. He now divides his time between Saffron Walden and Essex and Walberswick in Suffolk, where he paints both people and landscapes from life.
