“I love to work in either Oil or Pastel, both work in a similar way. My subject matter varies from the coasts of Cornwall and Yorkshire to the network of canals near where I live in Staffordshire. A recent change of subject has been flowers and still life, something I look forward to developing further.

Another area I’m developing is my Plein air work ( painting outdoors). I now have a couple of portable easels I can carry around with me and set up outside with the minimum of fuss.

In the last year I’ve been doing more demos for art society’s. Terrified at first, I now enjoy meeting people to talk about my work and process.

I am represented by galleries in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Leicestershire and have also exhibited with The Royal Society of British Artists at The Mall Galleries in London.

Once the painting is done I make the frames, for myself and other artists.”
