The fine line which separates figuration and abstraction interests me. The subjects are only the starting points – sometimes small insignificant details or textures trigger a complete piece.
Ross Loveday lives and has a studio in Bury St. Edmunds. He was voted Printmakers Printmaker at Printfest , Cumbria ; Award Winner at Neoprint ; selected for the Royal Academy Competition ; East of England Prize Winner at the National Open Art Competition ; selected for Original Print Exhibition and the Masters at the Bankside Gallery.
