Leigh Davis. Born in Shrewsbury 1976, currently living in Staffordshire.
1995 – 99
Studied Jewellery and Silversmithing at Birmingham University for two years. Then went on to study Ceramics, Woods, Metals and Plastics achieving a BA (Hons.) at Wolverhampton University.
Leigh Davis works predominantly in oil, creating bold, expressive, abstract paintings that focus upon form and structure. Leigh takes much of his inspiration from the figure, deconstructing and reconstructing shapes into various compositions.
