“The paintings I am showing in my final MA exhibition at Aberystwyth School of Art are the result of three years of exploration of method and technique, and personal reflection on the motivations driving my practice. These paintings represent my successful arrival at base camp after a turbulent and surprising journey. They’re unapologetically concerned with landscape and inscape, with mark making, with colour. I complete my MA with quiet confidence, ready for the mountains ahead.”
