ADRIAN HENRI PRIZE FOR POETRY IN ART - WINNER ANNOUNCED
The winner of the 2013 competition is Linda Norris with her superb work 'Her House is Air' which takes it's inspiration from the poem 'Peregrine Falcon' by Gillian Clarke.

ADRIAN HENRI PRIZE FOR POETRY IN ART
Wenlock Poetry Festival in association with Twenty Twenty Gallery. An innovative new £10,000 ‘poetry in art’ prize honors the life and work of poet and visual artist Adrian Henri. Wenlock Poetry Festival and contemporary craft and fine art gallery Twenty Twenty have teamed up to present a major new arts prize for 2013: The Adrian Henri Prize for Poetry in Art.
National and international artists and crafts makers are invited to submit a visual artwork based on or inspired by a specific, poem to this major new art prize. The aims of the prize are to encourage and demonstrate how poetry can work with visual arts and in particular contemporary craft to stimulate dialogue and comment through innovation and creativity.
The £10,000 prize will be awarded to the artwork which meets the aims, objectives and criteria of the competition in the most inspiring way.
The judges for the Adrian Henri Prize for Poetry in Art are: Carol Ann Duffy, Catherine Marcangeli, Willy Russell and Stephen Raw.
