"The Rural landscapes of Leicestershire and South West Ireland are the inspiration for my recent imagery. Time spent at the Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat in Co. Kerry has had an enormous impact on my work, not only visually but also creatively.

The limited recourses in this isolated location has proved an invaluable experience. Animal tracks, black peat fields and the erosion of 'weather beaten' land, all have a certain beauty, which lend their patterns to abstract interpretation of landscape shapes."
