Elly Baltus
Elly Baltus has developed into one of the most inventive and
experimental artists of the medal in recent years.Employing a wide
range of materials and techniques, she has created works
incorporating many aspects of contemporary technology.
She has exhibited widely in the Netherlands including such venues as
the Centraal Museum,Utrecht, (Coin with a Mission),Money Museum,
Utrecht (Medal Art Exhibition), and Teylers Museum. (British Medal Art
from the past 10 years).
She is also represented in many institutional collections, such as the
Geldmuseum, Het Koninklijk Penningen Kabinet,Utrecht and the
British Museum, London.
In 2010 she was awarded the FIDEM Grand Prix at Tampere, Finland.
