All through time coins have been used in jewelleryand the work that I have done for Twenty Twenty is all based on ancient coins. The coins used in my pieces are all authentic and therefore need to be treated with some care; perfume for example can cause the metal to tarnish. Each coin, with the exception of the tetradrachm (one hole has been drilled), have not been defaced in any way. All the gold in these pieces come from either Venetian ducats or spade guineas and the metal is of fantastic quaility.
