Norman Lamputt
After studying painting and lithography, Norman Lamputt left Shrrewsbury School of Art in 1965 to became a fulltime painter and illustrator, living between Shropshire, London and the West Country.
Norman now lives and works from his home in Much Wenlock. His paintings capture the essence of the Shropshire landscape. Through colour and light he creates mystery and magic. There is a pause, a moment in time where the viewer can use their imagination to tell the story.
Norman Lamputt has exhibited widely throughout the UK and the United States. His paintings are in private collections in the UK, the Continent and North and South America.
