Janet Creed
Over the last few years Janet Creed has been developing her style of pottery. Mainly working in earthenware for its' "soft, tactile qualities" has given Janet a sense of freedom and joy in her work.
Inspiration comes from many sources: her own large collection of old earthenware and woodwork; paintings by William Scott and Roger Hilton; naive art and medieval potters. All of this plus bringing up four children is brought together in pots that happily inhabit the modern world.
These pots lift the spirits and make you smile.
