Eleanor Glover
Eleanor Glover graduated from Manchester College of Art & Design in 1974, she makes painted wooden sculpture, fretted reliefs and lettering. Beautifully and skillfully executed her work is infused with observations and ideas about human nature. A mix of emotions culminate in each individual piece.
“My pieces all tell stories. Communicating ideas is really important
to me and I get a lot of pleasure out of passing on my ideas to the people
who buy my work. I try to communicate these messages as honestly and
simply as possible”.
Eleanor’s work has been widely exhibited, and was recently the subject of
a major national touring exhibition organised by Ruthin Craft Centre. She
is represented in several public collections including the Crafts Council.
