Annie Ovenden
Annie Ovenden was one of the original members of The Ruralists.The Brotherhood of Ruralists was formed in 1975 and consisted originally of seven artists; Each had their own style, yet shared many sentiments and sources of inspiration. A desire to understand and paint the elements of nature was combined with literary and musical influences.
Annie has had several solo exhibitions and has exhibited in all The Ruralist exhibitions since 1976, the most recent being in June 2006. She is best known for her tree studies and paintings depicting the landscape of Cornwall where she lives and works.
