Welcome to Twenty Twenty Gallery, a contemporary art gallery with an excellent reputation for British art and craft based in Much Wenlock, Shropshire.
Mary Elliott took over the gallery in 2004 and has since developed Twenty Twenty as a premier destination for rural art and craft in the West Midlands. More recently her furniture designer husband Hugh has taken on development of Twenty Twenty's online business as well as exhibiting some of his own products in the gallery.
The gallery has regular exhibitions throughout the year and there is a permanent selection of jewellery, ceramics, glass, furniture, sculpture, paintings and prints by some of the best British artists and makers.
Alfred Stockham, Annie Ovenden, David Inshaw, Prue Cooper, Angela Harding, Betsy Smith, Gillian Stein, Louise Cheshire, Elspeth Soper, Nancy Pickard, Wendy Hoare, Sue Campion, Hugh Elliott and Sue Brown are just some of the renowned artists, makers and designers that show their work at Twenty Twenty.
Twenty Twenty is registered with the Arts Council England and operates the Own Art finance scheme which makes owning art very accessible.
Every year we run workshops where you can learn processes and techniques from our artists and makers and create pieces of your own. The workshops are usually run over a weekend and the town of Much Wenlock is perfectly placed for walking and exploring Wenlock Edge and the Welsh Marches. It is also famous for its contribution to the modern Olympic movement through Dr William Penny Brookes and holds annual Olympian Games .
